Conventions

403 Subscription inactive

Problem type https://www.getproperly.com/developers/errors/subscription-inactive

HTTP status 403
type https://www.getproperly.com/developers/errors/subscription-inactive
title Subscription inactive
Content-Type application/problem+json

When it occurs

The key is valid, but the account's Properly subscription has expired or its plan doesn't include the API. Webhooks aren't delivered while this lasts.

Example

403 Subscription inactive
{
  "type": "https://www.getproperly.com/developers/errors/subscription-inactive",
  "title": "Subscription inactive",
  "status": 403,
  "detail": "API access needs an active Properly subscription on a plan that includes the API. The account owner can reactivate it in Properly.",
  "instance": "/v1/properties",
  "code": "subscription_inactive",
  "requestId": "aQ3fT8xW1m"
}

Handling

  • Nothing is deleted. Access returns once the account owner reactivates the subscription, and the key stays the same.
  • Retrying does not help until the subscription is reactivated.

All problem types are listed on the Errors page.
